Dr Simon Kagwe

Simon is an accredited Executive and Team Coach working at the intersection of leadership, emotional intelligence, and human transformation. Grounded in the belief that great leaders never stop learning, he brings scholarly depth and more than a decade of multisectoral leadership experience to his coaching.
Simon's career has spanned civil society, higher education, professional associations, and the church, including roles as President of AIESEC in Kenya, Co-founder and Managing Director of You and I, Leadership and Coaching Consultant at Career Connections, adjunct facilitator at NiaDelta, and Accreditation and CPD Lead for the AC Kenya Chapter. He has been recognised with the Associate Fellowship Award from the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) and the United Nations Global School Ambassador designation from the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
He holds a PhD in Leadership and Organisational Change from the United States International University (USIU)-Africa, with doctoral research focused on Emotional Intelligence and Performance, alongside an MBA from the African Leadership University School of Business (Rwanda). He is a Certified Executive Leadership and Team Coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC), an Accredited Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching (AC), and a Certified Hogan Assessment Feedback Provider.
A published author of four books, including Youth on a Mission, The HeArt of Coaching, Emotional Intelligence and Performance, and AI in Academia, Dr Kagwe has developed the Agape Coaching HeArt methodology, an approach rooted in love, integration, and transformational change. He currently serves as Lecturer and Faculty Lead at the African Leadership University and as Executive Dean and Coach at the Fearless Institute by Mavuno Church.
Simon's coaching is anchored in the conviction that inner transformation is the foundation of lasting leadership impact. He works with leaders across education, faith, and professional sectors, deepening self-awareness, strengthening emotional intelligence, and helping clients translate inner growth into purposeful leadership practice.
