Judi Nwokedi is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience across the energy, tourism, media, infrastructure, and public service sectors. Her career reflects resilience, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to transformation, ethical leadership, and social impact. She is widely recognised for her ability to guide leaders and organisations through complexity, drawing on a powerful blend of operational experience, governance expertise, and global cultural intelligence.
Judi spent almost twenty years in exile, working across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, France, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Middle East. During this period, she held leadership, advisory, and technical roles in corporate, government, and cultural institutions, contributing to major initiatives including prison reform, substance-abuse legislation, telecommunications development with Motorola, and nuclear programmes with AREVA France. These international experiences shaped her strategic vision and ability to adapt to diverse social and political contexts.
In South Africa, Judi has held several senior executive positions, including Managing Director of Public Broadcasting at the South African Broadcasting Corporation, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer at Tourvest, and Senior Vice-President at AREVA South Africa. Her executive leadership has focused on transformation, governance, operational excellence, and crisis navigation, often in high-stakes environments where strategic clarity and ethical decision-making were critical.
Judi serves on the boards of Conlog, CIG, and Hengtong South Africa, where she chairs the Remuneration, Ethics, Transformation, and Sustainability committees. She is deeply committed to developing future leaders and has mentored a wide range of professionals throughout her career. Her longstanding involvement in community work includes co-founding LoveLife, South Africa’s pioneering youth HIV/AIDS prevention programme, and contributing to initiatives focused on mental health, gender-based violence, and social equity.
Looking ahead to 2026, Judi is transitioning into full-time executive coaching, leadership facilitation, non-executive directorship, and creative production. She works with leaders to cultivate authenticity, purpose, and courageous decision-making, blending her global experience with a deeply human approach to leadership and institutional transformation.
